Seconds caught for eternity
I first started getting into photography when I began working at the library media center at my alma mater, Georgetown University, as a freshman. There I met several people who did freelance photography alongside their dayjob and thus the seed was planted for interest in the hobby and profession. I learned how to use DSLR cameras and studio lighting, and since then have had a fascination with the medium. After drifting away to work on other pursuits after graduation, I eventually came back to the art and returned with gusto.
I find that I most enjoy capturing someone as they wish to be seen - the best version of themselves. I love how I can bring the facets people want to see of themselves to life and be a part of that creation process.Â
